You may have noticed, you may have not... but my favourite band is Radiohead.  It's about the life, the art, the sounds.  There's more to it, so much more, but I couldn't expain it if I tried.
Well I think I better dedicate a lot more space to Radiohead.  They write, but they write about a lot more than you think.  They write love songs.  But they don't.  They are considered a lower form of Brit-pop, underlings of Oasis, but their large songlist includes a title called Pop is Dead.  Listening to Radiohead, you get the feeling you are tapping into something deeper below the surface, but there's more than that, there's a feeling like you've just missed out on something important.
Most people remember Radiohead for the song Creep.  But they are dutifully bound to the song, in the same way as Nirvana was bound by Smells Like Teen Spirit.  A song of theirs is dedicated to their hate of Creep, which is not a bad song, but it has become something which people have seen them as, with that being their peak.  As Thom said once, people attend concerts to hear Creep, and then go home, not wanting to even listen to anything else.  So My Iron Lung was born.
Radiohead's second album was a work of art, but they reached popularity again with their third album OK Computer, although this received very little commercial airplay.  My favourite song appears on this album.  It is called Paranoid Android.
