Lying to yourself is a crime you cannot commit without feeling cheated.  Anything which scares you has power over you.  There is a largely unoccupied space between telling a lie and revealing the truth.  Answering questions with questions is a sign of deceit and fear and a lack of trust.  Becoming one person with another can't happen unless there is an openness which is unparalleled.  But you can't have that unless you're comfortable with what you may learn.  No one can handle a whole truth.  Anything less is just acting the part of being united, which is a lie in itself.  If you can handle anything someone's got to tel you, jealousy must not affect you.  If you're afraid of what you may learn, that information has power over you.  If you're afraid to tell a truth, or you replace truth with half-truths or lies, jealousy has power over you.  It's a pity that knowledge and jealousy controls so many people.  But it's a lot sadder that even more people are happy being apathetic about what has happened in the past, or are content with lying and being lied to.
