where it went wrong:
waking up tired
wanting more that we deserved
dreaming out loud
mistaking sex for love
mistaking love for sex
having hope for something bigger than me heart and soul in a paper bag (?)
pathetically introduced species into the wild
bleeding into a jar, trying to capture a memory or two
heart and soul in a plastic coffin
a name in your eye straying from what's lost
the sign telling you where to go is not as important as the ones telling
you where you've been and where you are
thoughts trapped under the fridge, or behind barbed wire
faces without names
faces without eyes
the closetmonster invading your personal space
eyes in the mirror looking back at you, and disliking what they see
the kernel controlling you
ears without feeling
loneliness scaring you more than death
the reaper being a friend
flowers being a knife to your teddybear
gum in your hair
waking up and wanting more
need being a goal
the wait for the doctor being a thrill
hoping for a future with you in it
wanting a tyre with your name engraved
pins and needles in your ankle
being beaten
age being your weakness
having a tonguering
buying your way through life
technology enveloping you
what you own ends up owning you
