Efils' God
eels

Efils good and the time is right
To bundle up and slip away
The count is down and the drip is up
It's time to split this hunk of clay

Now you can bring back my suitcase but you can't bring me
And you can have all the money 'cause you say that you must
But if you think that it matters take a look at me
And don't close your eyes as I turn into dust

Efils good

Don't tell me that I can't do this
As if you knew
But you don't know
How efils good

Explanation?  Well...  the way I see it is the only way that matters right now.

Efil is not a word.  It is pronounced in a way which sounds the same as "It/he feels"... so the line "Efils good" is like "it feels good".  Remember that while throughout the song the word "efil" is said in reference to "efils good", the actual song is called "Efils' God".  With the late apostrophe.  So it is either the god that belongs to Efils, a singular, of a plural of Efil.  Or is could mean that Efils (the plural) is in fact God.

Which one is it?  You tell me.

I think that it must be open to both interpretations for the specific purpose of making you think nd smile at the logical doublethink.  You see, what is "efil"?????  Well, reverse the name.

Life.

Life feels good when you are in control of your destiny.

Don't tell me that I can't control my destiny.  You don't know how life feels good when I'm like this.

What do you think?
